pretty much have the same things available (e.g., a roof, 4 walls, a floor, and a door). In hosting terms that
equates to e-mail accounts, space, bandwidth, and autoresponders, etc.

There are ridiculous deals all the time. What these people do, is they stuff so many websites on their server,
that it doesn't matter how much space or bandwidth they offer you - you won't be able to benefit from it because
the server is too slow to handle its load.
Don't be fooled by a fast signup page - those companies never host their own websites on one of those servers.
So, what do you look for?
Look for whether a company is telling you the whole truth, look for the holes in their sale - and look for a company
that will stand behind you.
